Ampscale is a business-to-business service. We process customer operational data to provide the contracted service and personal information to run accounts, support users, secure the platform, and communicate with prospects and customers.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information processed by Ampscale through our website, forms, events, sales activities, applications, APIs, gateways, support channels, and related services. It does not apply to third party websites, services, or integrations that have their own privacy policies.
Customer agreements may include additional privacy, security, or data processing terms. If those terms conflict with this Policy, the signed agreement controls for the relevant customer.

- Contact details such as name, work email, phone number, company, job title, billing details, and account preferences.
- Sales and support content such as messages, form submissions, meeting notes, service requests, feedback, and attachments.
- Account information such as authentication identifiers, role assignments, organization membership, and audit events.
Information collected through the service
- Usage data such as logins, page views, feature interactions, API calls, device type, browser type, IP address, approximate location, and diagnostic logs.
- Site and operational records such as facility names, addresses, equipment labels, meter references, project context, gateway status, and files or notes uploaded by users.
- Gateway and telemetry metadata associated with the service, which may be linked to sites, customer accounts, or authorized users.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from identity providers, payment processors, analytics providers, communications tools, integration partners, public sources, and customers who invite users or submit site information.
3. How we use information

- provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service;

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, managing authorized users, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
7. Your choices
- Account information: authorized users may update certain profile details in the product or through customer support.
- Marketing communications: you may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message. We may still send service, security, account, and transactional notices.
- Cookies and analytics: browser controls may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some features may not work correctly without necessary cookies.
- Customer-controlled data: requests to access, correct, export, or delete customer account data may need to be submitted through the customer organization that controls the account.
8. Regional privacy rights

We will respond to applicable requests as required by law and may need to verify your identity or your authority to act on behalf of another person.
Where Ampscale processes personal information on behalf of a customer, we generally act as a processor or service provider and will direct requests to the relevant customer unless the law requires otherwise.

The service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
